Thanks alot for your input guys.
Especially Dave and Jim, I wasn't aware that the offset would be
opposite on the other side of the engine, but I guess it makes sense because
the crank only rotates in one direction. Thanks again for all the help from
everyone.

ps. I saw type 3 idf manifolds and linkage at www.typethreedetectives.com
they claim to have a 1776 running dual weber 44's that fits under the decklid.
I'd love to see that under my decklid!
