I recommend that you not do it this way. The problem with this method is 
that it makes another connection to a wire that leads directly to the ECU, 
with the possibility of damaging the ECU, plus the difficulty of attaching to 
that grey wire since it is contained within a plastic plug.

It's also handy to let the switch bypass the relay since this can then be used 
as a test of the relay.
