Yes, all normal private and commercial licence plates in Algeria have only numerals and no letters. I have been to Algeria many times. As well, many small island countries like Kiribati, Maldives, Dominica, etc. have only numbers and no letters on their normal plates. Also, many of your neighbours have only numbers and no letters except for a word or acronym on a separate blocked-off part of the number plate which indicates the country such as Liban or Jordan or IRQ or SA or SYR or UAE or YAR or BRN etc. as do also the following countries in Europe: Monaco, San Marino, Liechtenstein, Andorra and the Vatican City and Nauru in the Pacific. See: N.A. Parker "Registration Plates of the World". Simon Glen Toowoomba, Australia. ------------------------------------------------------------------- Too much?
