<x-flowed>> What is the >difference between the "A" brain and the "B" brain? The "A" brain came with the first generation of Type 3 FI in '68. In '69 the "B" was used, apparently to correct a tendency for the "A" brain to flood the engine on start-up under certain circumstances. I am running a "A" brain right now on my '69, and every once in a while I have an occasional hard-start condition that I believe is caused by an over-rich fuel mixture. Short answer to the question: The "A" should usually work fine, but the "B" will work better. When I find a good "B" brain, I am going to put it in my car. -Mark Fuhriman _________________________________________________________________ Join the worldâs largest e-mail service with MSN Hotmail. http://www.hotmail.com ------------------------------------------------------------------- Search old messages on the Web!
