<x-flowed>>.7 ohm could be a problem. You have no noise suppresion!!!! The Bosch
wire were solid copper, but the ends had a 1000 ohm noise suppression resistor built it. The rotor should have 3-5K resistance also. All solid wires are fine if you are carburated, and don't want to listen to the radio.
Will a lack of noise suppression plug wires cause a problem with the FI system? Just curious, since you mentioned this, it occured to me that I dont know if the wires I have are noise suppression wires or not.
