I would try a NEW set of plugs. Cleaning with a wire brush can leave metal 
tracks on the insulator which can make the plug break down. I don't think 
this is usually temp dependent, but it's a cheap & easy thing to try.

I don't care for the tank coatings. I don't have any direct experience with 
them but there are some fine structure details inside the tank that a sealant 
could plug up. 

Do you have these same problems when the tank is actually more than 3/4 
full? Have you checked the fuel pressure? Is the tank venting system clear 
so that air can get into the tank as gas is being used up.

I still have 1 good used Bentley here, with the color wiring diagrams that the 
new ones no longer come with.
