<x-flowed> Sixteen foot ceiling! The twin towers on my above ground hoist were twelve feet tall and at full lift my pickup cab rose two feet over that. Also gives room over the parking area for a stand up loft for parts storage. Having everything on one level would be great but around here the county bases property tax rates on "single story" outbuilding on the square footage of the roof, and a sixteen foot ceiling is not considered a "two story" structure. I am thinking that the garage will be about 30' x 45' with at least 10 foot ceilings, possibly 13' Any suggestions?? --end snip-- I can't think of anything type 3 specific, but I dream of a garage with a lift (of course) and a trackslide system on the ceiling. Something that you can attach chains, hooks, pulleys, what-have-you to and slide them side to side and front to back. Lift the body off by myself? No Problem. And if you ever had anything aside from a vw (did he really say that?) you could pull that engine, slide it over, drop it on the workbench/stand, and back with the greatest of ease.
