Standard fuel hose is rated for a pressure of at least 50psi. Since our old Bosch D-Jetronic FI systems run at 28-30psi, they are fine with ordinary fuel hose. Modern FI systems run at pressures of 60-80psi and require better hose. Your FLAPS is likely to have both kinds available. You should just buy 5/16" ordinary fuel line. It works fine. If you discover that your leak is from near the filler pipe, that is a different problem, and you should check back here if yours leaks there. - ******************************* Jim Adney, jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, Wisconsin, USA ******************************* ------------------------------------------------------------------- Search old messages on the Web!
