If you've been all around your car and bled everything twice and your bleed valves are on the tops (not the bottoms) of your calipers, then you have all the air out. Many people think the brakes should be rock hard, but they never really are. It is impossible to describe the proper "feel" in words. If you just have to pump once or twice to pump up the brakes and then they feel right, then it is most likely that you need to adjust the rear brakes. Read the manual. They make it quite clear that the MC pushrod should NEVER be changed from the factory setting. > also what is the nut on the bottom of the MC? It is the stop pin for the front piston in the MC. It is removed only when you are disassembling the MC. Leave it alone. - ******************************* Jim Adney, jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, Wisconsin, USA ******************************* ------------------------------------------------------------------- Search old messages on the Web!
