You have to just work your way around it. Here's how: Remove the hold down nut and loosen the clamp nut. The clamp nut can only be reached by an open end 10mm wrench reached down between the fan housing and that rod. Then pull the dizzy up until the clamp clears the case stud and rotate it CW a bit; this will be enough to get the clamp and dizzy out together.
