If there's a build-up of leaves etc inside, you could probably blow it out with an airline. There would have been a plastic grille to stop too much debris getting in there, but many have rotted away now. Have you pushed something up through the outlet from the drain tray (remove the drain pipe first). there may still be a blockage on the end. If this doesn't clear things, maybe there is a hole rusted through the tray. I'm more familiar with the later type, so I hope this isn't garbage! Dave.
