On my 1972 SB one of the fresh air vent control knobs is not working. Unfortunately it is stuck in the closed position. I'm going to be removing the aftermarket A/C unit (since I removed the compresser during a clutch R&R) to fix the fresh air intake foot bath. The fact that the knob quit on me last night just moved this project to the front. Anybody ever dealt with the knobs before? Know how they work? Is there a cable or something in there? I have a parts car to use. While I'm asking do you have any tips on the fresh air intake project. The search engine on the website doesn't seem to be working or I'd look it up. Also, does anybody drill holes in the bottom of their doors to drain water? Is this a good idea?
