[T3] jacking up my type3(floor jack?)

where is a good place to put a floor jack on a type3? front and back. also, 
what are the things in which the actual VW jack inserts in to?  on both sides 
of my squareback they are bending and braking due to POs not FULLY inserting 
it, its so bad i couldnt consider using my vw jack...:(
