<x-charset iso-8859-1>I keep the oil near the top, remember if your a quart low at the bottom line you only have 1.5 left unless your using a sump, This is very little and will really starve the engine on turns. Keep it Full! And BTW, some of my engines would go through a quart in 500 miles, sometimes, not others and still lived long lives. My current engine uses very little oil sometimes and others, like when I have to lift off the gas alot on the highway it uses more... and as ive mentioned before foggs the town on decelleration. Its done this for 40K or so and the compression is fine so Im really not worried a bit. oil is cheap!
