<x-charset iso-8859-1>Exactly why I don't do business with them. They'll also tell you something is "rare" when they're available by the hundreds if not thousands. The seat rail guides they were selling awhile back is an example. At one point they were asking something like $60 for enough to do two seats and claiming that these were nearly unavailable at all. Two of their competitors were selling them for 10 bucks a seat and now it seams they're all over the place. Rare indeed! Everyone is entitled to make a buck. Everyone is also entitled to sift through the BS and shop around. Some guys are gonna flame me saying these guys "support our hobby" BS. They like any other good business people are supporting "their" hobby and their wallet. Business is business and the goal is to make as much money as you can. I certainly want to make every dime I can. I do not however mislead or make false claims about my products "rarity". Nor do I gouge someone just because they don't know any better. In this hobby patience is indeed a virtue. ----- Original Message ----- From: "David & Sylvia" <st_diazde@tarleton.edu> To: <type3@vwtype3.org> Sent: Monday, October 22, 2001 11:08 PM Subject: Re: [T3] Cheap replacement > Hey Jason > Thanks for the lead on the dashpad, I checked with ISPW and they have a used > original "as is" for $ 300.00 > Used that is ridiculous. > Thanks > David&Sylvia > 67 Fastback > > ------------------------------------------------------------------- > Search old messages on the Web!
