This feature is on 70-3 FI cars.

This certainly happens, but I have only seen it on OE 72-3. Bosch 
made a change in that switch later on which kept it from happening 
later on, so you're protected if you have a later replacement switch 
in your 72-3.

I don't know why it doesn't seem to happen in the 70-1 cars.
