The CB Performance "Maxi-Filter" system is excellent in my opinion. The first & foremost selling feature I liked was the ultra-fine stainless steel filter screen(far superior to the stock screen-filters out VERY fine particulates) The housing extends down off the sump about 1-3/4".(have had no problems scraping anything) & it is a strong, cast aluminum setup that's lasted well over 10 years now, and it only requires one gasget. Neil I know everyone's gung ho about this POR 15, but IMHO it's not made for gasoline tanks. My restoration chemical suppliers told me about one particular product when we were rebuilding Morris Minors, which was by a company named "Moss". They make a product called "fuel tank slushing compound" part # 220-450. It's been probably 15 years now since I did my tank, & have had no problems with pinhole leaking, rust accumulation,or any noticeable deterioration at all. I highly recommend this stuff. (had to special order from an MG restoration shop-IIRC it was about $ 40./quart-& I still have about 3/4 leftover) Cheers!
