Re: [T3] piston rings

I stopped at my local parts store on the way home, and happened to ask him
about the oversize rings. He lists them under Federal Mogal brand. they are
shown as being available from the factory warehouse in +.25, +.50, +.75,
+1.00, and +1.50mm oversizes. This was listed as being avialable in both
"Economy", and "Premium" versions. The Economy is with a cast iron oil ring,
and the Premium was with a chrome oil ring. On used cylinders, I recommend
using the chrome oil rings as they are more forgiving or any out of round
conditions.
This was a Big A parts store.
