Re: [T3] T3 Aussie doors-reinforced driver's side?

Now my Notch came with "Euro"doors-no side impact beams-and I picked off 2
doors from a Squareback to replace them with, but I thought the Square was a
'71, there was enough of a difference with the dash and other interior
pieces that I know it wasn't a '73, maybe it was a wrecked and repaired
car. The "new" doors have a significant amount of steel inside them,
personally I would feel more comfortable with them on the car considering
how folks drive around here, and I've seen the effects first hand on just
what a side impact can do. My lower hinges are shot on both sides (read "my
heater channels are shot on both sides"), and I'll need to bolster the whole
area before I hang an additional 10 #'s or so off of them. Thanks to
everyone who has offered suggestions as to how to proceed, I was able to
locate my "replacing heater channels" article I downloaded a while back
(with pictures!) and I am collecting all the pieces to go ahead. Maybe I can
take pictures of the ordeal to post somewhere in order to show how not to
make the mistakes I will undoubtedly make.
