Sounds good to me. Especially if you plan on replacing the fasty's floorpan with the one from the square. Soyou would have teh squares front end with bigger brakes and bigger sway bar, good floorpan. Also switch the swing axle subframe to the good pan andyour all set! I recently came across this '67 fasty, that a co-worker has. He has a lien on it for $500 and will sell it to me for the price of the lien.It runs, floor pans are rusted through, all of the window seals rotted, body good except the roof is a little dented( why I'm not sure)and a it is a complete car. Then on the same day I found a '73 squareback for parts car only missing tranny and engine( good floor pans). I was just about to begin the body work for '70 squareback now, but find myself drawn to the purhase of the fasty( and the square for parts). Sound like a good deal? Or trying start a type3 collection? ------------------------------------------------------------------- List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list or mailto:help@vwtype3.org
