Yes your carbs do sound to be miss-matched to a certain degree. There are minnor
changes throughout production of the T3. These range from Venturi & jetting to
emulsion tubes & choke pistons. If this is not confusing enough the T4 bus and
411 used very simular carbs. Their parts can easily find there way onto a T3
carb. If I remember you have a 65 T3? The piston style carb top is the correct
one for the early cars. As for the emulsion tube, I have seen them on early carbs
then blocked off and then to return again on later versions. My advise to you
would be to try and find a matching pair and rebulid them, or try to find a donor
carb to make your pair a match. They are out there, but if you still cant find
carbs email me direct and I hook you up.
