You can't easily get replacements, as you can for a Beetle, so I don't know anyone who recommends replacing just the floors - you may as well get a complete floorpan from a scrap car. However, on a Beetle it is suggested by some that you cut the floor off maybe 1/4" clear of the tunnel/spine so you only have to joint the new(?) floor onto the remains of the old rather than weld it to what is about 1/8" steel. I can personally confirm that low power hobby welders are hard going joining to that thickness of tunnel. Dave.
