Dave, that's a 66-68 distributor. The timing diagram on the club website gives 7.5 deg BTDC for that one, without vac hose. That makes it the third notch from right end or the second from the left if you're using the crank pulley with 1 notch (TDC) then three in a group. If it's the pulley from the FI engine, 7.5 deg BTDC is the right hand mark of 4 fairly evenly spaced marks. That much retardation from normal would certainly make it a bit sluggish! Check the page for yourself, but that seems to make sense to me unless I'm being particularly Homer-ish tonight. Dave.
