Okay, now that it's running I'm sure I'll have even more question then I did before. First off here's a list of my immediate plans: Since I do not know what condition the tranny is in (auto) my first task (before) I start spending $$$ is to fix my brakes and get it moving!!! Question #1: Should I do anything to the engine before I attempt this? Can the valves be adjusted without a muffler or should I wait till I have one on? Question #2: I don't plan on ever driving it in the winter, I do live in Canada after all. So I have no use for the heating system for that reason I would like to slap on some "J" tubes...good idea... all thoughts are welcome Question #3: What is the best muffler system......?....this one is open to debate, but I would like to make it sound as good as possible...also will the J-tubes affect sound? Question #4: I plan on making a monster size order from Cal Imports in Vancouver (keeping it Canadian) once I know the tranny is okay.....are there any helpful specialized VW tools I should also order at this time...?
