Hello all, I doubt anyone rembers me , as I have been gone for about a year. My Family and I moved to the Charlotte NC area and bought a house in Concord. So far Ive seen 3 Type3s here. A late fasty and 2 late squares, any one on the list? We got rid of our rusty 69 fasty before the move but drove the old 71 auto fasty. Shortly after ariving in the carolinas the auto tranny went out on us. Just today I parked the fasty in the garage and pulled the motor . What was gonna be a simple tranny swap I think will become the chance to do some welding that the car needs.Might as well replace the upholstry and headliner while im at it.
