Or something that looks > an awful lot like it. They are meant to connect to 2 inlets on the right side of the air cleaner. The 72-3 type 3s got a more complicated breather system that is intended to suck filtered air in thru the heads and then out the breather via a special duct to the intake air distributor. This is supposed to carry off fuel vapors which then get sucked into the intake air. It's kind of a PCV (positive crankcase ventilation) system.
