Thank you Steven Ayres, One reason why I was wondering about the Notchback Cabriolets is that at least one Type 34 Cabriolet was sold to the public and that was only fairly recently in December 1997 found (and now restored) by Lars Neuffer at Gottingen in Germany. A very lucky man! (For pictures see: http://www.karmann-ghia.de/galerie ) Of course, I would love to find a genuine original Notchback Cabriolet in some relative's deceased estate (and left to me, of course) - one which has been sitting on blocks and protected in a nice dry shed somewhere for the past 39 years!! Karmann could build 'em, but not cheap enough. ------------------------------------------------------------------- Search old messages on the Web! Visit http://www.vwtype3.org/list/
