Down here (south Alabama) where VWs are plentiful, the car Russ described would go for about 6-700 bucks if it had a really good engine. Rust through down here is death on any kind of resale value. There are just too many cars without rust that sell for 2000 or so. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Russ Wolfe" <russella@prairieinet.net> To: "type3" <type3@vwtype3.org> Sent: Tuesday, June 05, 2001 9:18 PM Subject: Re: [T3] what's it worth > > Subject: [T3] what's it worth > > > > > > > > I have a 1971 FB with a '73 motor in it that about 90% - 95% > > restored it runs really good but I will have to sell it but > > I don't know what it's value would be it has new seat > > covers, and carpet, clutch, master cylinder and other things > > in it.
