Did your car use the same key for all the locks (all the late years 
did, 68-73, at least.) If so, take out the passenger door handle 
(because it will be less worn and more likely to be original) and 
take it to a locksmith and ask them to make a "code key" for it. 
They will use the number on the side of the door lock to make a 
key that will then work in the ignition, too.
