[T3] Ignition re-moval and hot wiring

I lost my car key and need to replace the ignition
because of it however it seems that I can't take the
ignition out without the key!!!! I would prefer not to
have to drill or cut anything....?...any ideas....as
for hot wiring our cars there is one thick red wire a
thin red wire and a black which go to the
ignition...how do I hotwire the thing.....my best
guess is that you touch the k red with the black that
flicks on the accesories then you touch the other red
to both of those until the engine starts...am I
right....?
