Okay, so a fuse jumped on the fuse panel and kinda burned a few wires? Hey, while I'm at it, I'll just rewire the car? Ooooooh, if I'm gonna rewire the car, why don't I just upgrade to ATC fuses with dual flashers? Sounded like a cool and simple thing to do. Well, 3 weeks and about 500 feet of wire later, my turn signals work, my hazards work (both of which are on individual flashers), until I turn the parking lights on. Now, the way I understand it, the original wiring on the Type 3's was such that the hazard and turn signals shared one flasher (pn 211 953 215 c). Since I have now wired all of this up, I have realized that most other vehicle makes run the hazard flashers through the Turn Signal switch so that each can utilize it's own flasher unit. With that said, is there a way to make these work on different circuits? I think I have half of it right, but there are so many prongs coming off of the hazard switch and I have no clue as to what these do. I have tested them all under power with a test light and come up dead. So what gives? If anyone has words of advice, please let me in. I'll try anything at this point!! scott lawless P.S. That new wire sure made my lights brighter though!! __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Make international calls for as low as $.04/minute with Yahoo!
