"Compu-fire" and "Pertronix" both offer "pointless" ignition modules that you install into the distributor, and you never have to change your points again. dont worry about dwell or pointgap or any of that stuff. they run from $50 to$80us for the simple drop in kind. i have the compufire module, havent used it much though because of the rebuild (to be completed..)
