It has finally time for me to start reconstruction of my FI system on my 68 Fasty. I have '69 system with a butchered wiring loom to start with, But while at a swap i picked up some parts from a later system including a almost perfect loom. I need to decide what parts are interchangable or work better. For instance i have 2 pressure sensors. The one from '69 (pn: 311 906 051 B ) which has a small sealed adjustment screw . or the other one (pn: 311 906 051 C) which has a large adjustment screw that isn't sealed. Which one would work better with my ECU (pn: 311 906 021 B)? Also the better wiring harness is missing teh connector to teh pressure sensor! instead of a 4 wire MPC thw wires end up into a large 4 wire plug that would allow male spade connecters to fit into it. I plan on using the MPC off of my butchered harness and connect it to this plug. Was/IS there supposed to be a seperate plug and wires to the Pressure sensor? the better loom also has teh 4 wire throttle valve switch. SO i plan on removing the MPC and connecting two, 2 wire mpc for my early throttle valve switch and pressure switch. OR can i use the later style throttle valve switch? How do you add the cold start system (where do i locate the 5th injector)?
