If you buy the 87mm cylinders that can be just dropped in as replacements for the stock 85.5mm ones then the cylinder wall will be, by necessity, 0.75mm thinner all around. In the end, this thinning of the cylinder wall will more than make up for any gain in displacement and the end result will be worse performance than stock.
