There are 3 "eras" of type 3 FI. You need to pick a consistent set 
of parts that keep you within an era. The eras are 2 years each: 68-
9, 70-1, 72-3 (early, middle, late.)

This extra connector is a 70 only "feature." There was a short extra 
harness that went to the PS.

You can't mix the generations here. Pick one and stick to it.

You would need to swap in a middle era intake air distributor. You 
would also need this to use the 4 term throttle valve switch.
