ok then whatyou have to do is with the ignition on go to the engine compartment and pull the black wire of the electro magnetic cut of valve on the side of the carb then replace it does it click? these were fitted by vw to postively stop the flow of fuel on switch of to prevent the flooding of engines . try parking your car with its nose pointing down the hill(harder for fuel to spill in then) and see if it stardts any better 20 mins after a run. these electro magnetic cut off valves were also fitted to the later t4 engines in buses with twin 34 pdsits from the early 80s i use a pair of these on my car if for nothing else due to the fact that they are 15 years newer than some about! it may be worth taking the valve of the car and looking in the end to see that the small pin is still in the end of the valve (these can be removed and allow the engine to run in a pinch and the jet can remain)., let me know ill see what else it may be when you reply. neil verdon 66 sqr on irs pan best among equals rise to the top. ------------------------------------------------------------------- Search old messages on the Web!
