0.5% +/- 0.5% (ie 0% to > 1%) are the figures from VW. Now I've got to try to recall which manual > it's in, or I shan't be able to give chapter and verse when challenged. ;-) > Found a reference to CO level in FI from the Fuel System manual (and also in a service guide). Mostly they don't quote for the Type 3, as you can't normally adjust it anyway. They quote 0.7% CO for the adjustable units (mostly fitted to the Type 4, but they did supply 'brains' with a potentiometer as service parts for Type 3s). When I first got my Type 3 FI working, it was 'hunting' badly, and the CO level was scarcely above 0%, but when running nicely, 0.5% was attainable. Dave.
