I had assumed that this was a manual tranny, but your reference to a "real transmission" left me wondering. Which kind is it? > The front end likes to wander from time to time, especially in the wind, the > steering has a little excess play but not much. Many people use 28 all around because this is easier to remember. Your rears should have 27-36 psi depending on the model and the load in the car. If your inflation is right, then you may need new shocks and/or a new steering damper and Pitman arm bushing. - ******************************* Jim Adney, jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, Wisconsin, USA ******************************* ------------------------------------------------------------------- Pitch in!
