Are you sure it's a 68? 69 was the first year that AT and FI came together. 68 and 69 are almost exactly the same in appearance. Are you gonna buy the engine to get the late fan housing and generator? You could also go for the engine/tranny and the whole IRS rear subframe. If you do this, get them to cut the rear engine support brackets from the body on each side. BTW, did I see an Escondido fire engine in a national news story about fires in So Cal recently?
