Yep! my 65 Notch had the harness running into a metal tube and THROUGH the rocker panel.... Fortunately, the rocker was so rusted it was completely gone and removing and reconditioning the original harness was easy... and the rockers I welded on as replacements were 72's and the harness ran inside... some fudging but it worked.
