<x-charset iso-8859-1>64 and 65 were the big years in notch production. I personaly had always thought that you didnt see that many later notches because by 66 the body style was no longer "new" like the fasty and people were drawn to the square anyways. So I think a combo of the two helped diminish the number of notches produced. jason ----- Original Message ----- From: "Corivus De Lan" <coros@hotmail.com> To: <type3@vwtype3.org> Sent: Tuesday, December 04, 2001 3:02 PM Subject: [T3] notchback purchase > okay I have a question, I've been looking for a notchback for almost a year > now and now that i have found one I'll be buying it around january... but > it's a 66 and as that goes I don't see much on that year for notchbacks, > pretty much anywhere, is there some sort of unspoken of curse on them that > makes it so they never last or something? can someone shed some light on > this? or maybe most of the 66 owners don't take pictures of their 66's > because they are camera shy? > > a confused corivus > > _________________________________________________________________ > Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com/intl.asp > > ------------------------------------------------------------------- > Search old messages on the Web!
