<x-charset iso-8859-1> Jonathan, Please press return when you wish to go to the next line. Your e-mail was about 20 feet long of one line. I guess you saw it on the net. Makes it hard to read. I think your car will not turn because of hydraulic pressures in the cylinders caused by one cylinder filled with some gasoline. It may feel rock hard at times , like it is stuck against metal or too much compression. The mocha colored oil , does it smell like gas ? The mocha color is caused by the gasoline acting as internal engine cleaning fluid , chocolate stuff is cleaning off the engine guts, kind of like motor flush. The fuel came thru your rings and mixed with the oil . Sometimes it overfills the crank case with oil. First- remove your carbs Second - clean out your intakes from gas. Third - remove and plug the fuel line at the in of the fuel pump, is your fuel pump electric ????? Very important . Fourth - disconnect ignition (coil) and or electric fuel pump wire. Fifth - turn engine with starter to clean cylinders from gasoline Sixth - Does it turn faster now ? Fully charged battery. Seveth - you must replace your oil ; you do not wish to cause a hazardous condition. After all of this is done check your carbs, does the carb stop taking in gas as the engine is turned (mechanical pump) or when the electric fuel pump is pumping ? Do this with the carb out and the pump connected so you can see gas flowing out the bottom of the carb; if gas is pouring out the bottom then you have a float problem that must be fixed. Have the carb over a bucket or coffee can , you know to take all precautions: No open flames or spars etc... A float stuck open, can cause this indication, including a car fire, this happened to me with a non VW, fires are not fun. Tell me what you think about my input. I hope this is on target.
