I would just ignore the feeler gauge for now and move the points around as someone turns the engine over with the starter. Can you get the meter to display ~25 deg? Has this meter seemed to work correctly in the recent past? - ******************************* Jim Adney, jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, Wisconsin, USA ******************************* ------------------------------------------------------------------- List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list or mailto:help@vwtype3.org
