Keith, I am in the same boat - sitting on jackstands over the winter, never started it, and left 1/4 tank of gas in it. Didn't think about it until I was ready to test drive with the new wheels. Ran like crap!! I ran that gas out and refilled the tank. Went out a drove for an hour or so. Now all is good again. Maybe I just got lucky. Don't do anything until you try fresh gas.
