OK, I've got a ''72 Squareback with a recent rebuild and new dual Weber 34s. It starts and runs great, but after I'm on the freeway for 15 miles or so, it really starts running rough. Acts likes it's not getting enough gas. It sputters and occasionally backfires. The car has new fuel lines and a new mechanical fuel pump. The lines seem to be clear as far as I can tell. I've taken it twice to a shop I consider reliable and had them sync the carbs. The problem is, it's cold when they have it, so they don't see it when it's running rough because you have to drive it pretty far before it starts missing. Anybody ever had this problem?
