Well the first time I used one of teh prgressive kits for my fasty it wasn't very good. I bout a cool adapter at a swap that replaces the air distribuor on the FI system and utilizes the stock runners. it works okay BUT you get some bad carb icing! also thew whole problem of a carb sticking up out in teh back and all the noise and inside air polltion. not to mention you have to make a new engine cover or hack your up. Also with the adpater i used i had to add a spacerto rasie teh carb cause itdidn't clear teh front side of teh engine access hole(the big hole you look througfh to see teh engine). I wopuld get your stock carbs rebuilt, or possible get a dual weber kit like teh 34 icts. But maybe with a custom manifold a single sidedraft carb would be cool on a dual port type 3 motor. How bout using a Weber DCOE? I've been thinking about that conversion but it hasn't left from te confines of my own mind.
