A related question came up a month or so ago, so this time I called my Michelin dealer to see if he could still get the XZXs for me. The answer was yes, and the price was $86, including valves, mounting, and balancing. While this is a lot more than I paid the last time, the last time was a long time ago, so this is probably not such a bad price. If you like these tires (I do) then why not call around and see what kind of price you can find. Check the discount dealers and make it clear that you are willing to wait for them to order them in. You could also check some of the mail order discount tire houses advertised in Car and Driver, Road & Track, and Hemmings Motor News. With a little effort you can probably find these at a price you are willing to pay. - Jim Adney jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, WI 53711-3054 USA ------------------------------------------------------------------- Too much?
