if we are going to do a mass run of these things, i'd like to be in on it.
how about we extoll the virtues of dropped spindles over "notching it down"
(caster, etc.) and then ask how many on the list want a pair?  that way we
can all get them for less.

btw, can you still use your speedo cable with the dropped spindles?
