[T3] Roasty Rotor's and Brick Brake Pedal

Hello,
    I have a '67 Square. My problem is that my brake pedal is really 
STIFF!! But this is only certain times of the day, (i.e. The colder the 
Better!) but last night i noticed something else. My front left rotor 
was bright red!! Like lava!! Help! What is it and what should i do!?!?!?
