# 1 and 3 adjust at the first mark of the 4 that you describe. # 2 
and 4 adjust at the flat spot that you describe.

Yes, get this right and things should start working much better. 
Your #4 has not been working which means that the temp sensor 
there has been telling your FI that the engine is still cold. This 
keeps things running rich, etc, etc.
